Alxa block is consistent with dating results Shabatai, Daqing Shan Xiachengwan Adaohai. It inferred that provenance western part from block, eastern when combined study sandstone detrital components, paleocurrent. In late Paleozoic, Siberian plate collided North China Craton, was deposited Basin.
